Where'd this idea come from?

It all started on Twitter, talking to a catfish…

Why here? Why now?

Austin is full of incredible, wonderful, talented, and strange people, all looking for a fun outlet to express themselves. Why not help people to achieve their dreams while also playing incredibly goofy games in the search for love? We want to create a company where we can work with our friends and bring magic & mayhem to the world.

How do you play?

Now... Settle Down! is a dating game show where contestants onstage play a set of games to showcase their desirable traits to the lucky bachelor/bachelorette. As the games unfold, our bachelor/bachelorette will sit onstage and watch the contestants clash against each other, but cannot speak. They can use hand motions and facial expressions, but no words in any language. But no worries, our comedian panel will be the ones giving their thoughts as the games go on. The panel will have direct insight into each participant, because all contestants filled out personality quizzes and questionnaires beforehand. If things ever get too wild, crazy, embarrassing, or heated, the bachelor/bachelorette has the right to "settle things down” to reset everything and the contestants must oblige.

Only after each round, the bachelor/bachelorette will be allowed to say one word or short phrase to each contestant. Then once the games are over, the audience can vote on who they think the bachelor/bachelorette will choose. Next the panel will reveal their picks, before the bachelor/bachelorette can finally speak their mind.

Panel: The group of people that interview each contestant and gives commentary during the show. Will have brought to them questions and knowledge on each contestant on hand. Perfect for people who want to showcase their comedic timing and guide the show along.

Contestant: Will be on the show after doing a personality test. Will play games that are created to entertain and find the compatibility with others.

Camera Operator: Will be able to go around and record and capture panel, contestants, and audience.

Audience Member: Willing to watch and follow along during the show. Can record during the show, but not constantly on their phone.
